Meals
Lunches
and dinners are cooked in the Abbeyfield kitchens and served in two cosy dining
rooms. One of the many special features of meals at Abbeyfield is that residents are
welcome to assist with food preparation and cleanup, or to simply relax and be
served. Servers are often volunteers from the local secondary school who wish to
experience communication with the elders of their community.
Residents
prepare their own breakfasts from a buffet of options.
Afternoon
tea served in the sunroom is yet another opportunity for socializing each day.
Family
members or friends are welcome to join Abbeyfielders for meals in return for a nominal
charge.
Potential
residents are invited to peruse sample menus or to call us to arrange a time to join
us for a meal.
